Jindal Allies With Hunting To Offer Premium OCTG
NEW DELHI, INDIA-Pipe manufacturer
Jindal SAW Ltd. and Hunting Energy
Services announce they have formed
a joint venture to create India's first stateof-the-art
threading plant for premium oil
country tubular goods. The 130,000
square foot threading plant will be in
Nashik.
According to the partners, the joint
venture will enable India to supply
OCTG products globally and reduce or
eliminate the country's reliance on imported
OCTG. By pairing Jindal's location-specific
capabilities and local
workforce with Hunting's patented premium
connection threading technology,
the partners say, the joint venture will
offer a full range of sizes of seamless tubing
and casing for deep oil and gas
drilling activities.

offers access to competitively-priced,
high-quality premium casing and tubing,
accessories such as couplings, and
chrome OCTG supplies, Jindal and
Hunting add. They indicate the facility
is targeted to be operational by the end
of the year.

New GEODynamics Model Predicts Where Sand Flows
MILLSAP, TX.-GEODynamics®
says
its new StageCoach™ data analytics
modeling solution has been field-proven
to accurately predict how sand and fluid
will flow through wells and improve
well productivity by 10%-15%. The

Through primary research involving

proppant is distributed evenly and shown

Locus BE, Credence Ally
To Market Biosurfactants
MINOT, N.D.-Creedence Energy Services
has signed an agreement with Locus
Bio-Energy Solutions to become the exclusive
distributor of the company's biosurfactant
oil field treatments across the
Williston Basin, Locus BE reports.
This decision was made after trials
funded by the North Dakota Oil & Gas
Research Program demonstrated 70% increases
in oil production four months after
using the treatments on declining Bakken
wells, Locus BE relates. According to the
company, the biosurfactants combine a
near-zero carbon footprint with strong performance,
and are produced using renewable
agricultural materials native to North
Dakota, such as canola and sugar beets.
" Biosurfactants will play a pivotal role
in making the Williston Basin the leader
in sustainable oil production, " says Kevin
Black, president at Creedence Energy
Services. " Declining wells pose a significant
challenge to North Dakota's
overall oil production, especially within
the tight formations common to the
