SPOC Automation has named Timothy
R. Jett its chief operating officer.
Jett has 30 years of progressive leadership
experience and was most recently a technical
program manager with Amazon Web Services.
Before joining Amazon, he had a
long and successful supply chain career in
the U.S. Navy. As commanding officer in
the U.S. Navy Fleet Logistics Center, Jett
led a team of more than 400 military and
civilian personnel and oversaw billions of
dollars of material and equipment. ❒
Chesapeake Energy Corp. has named
HOIDAL
KUHMAN
Law firm Babst Calland has added
two professionals to its Washington
office: former Pipeline and Hazardous
Materials Safety Administration official
Christopher Hoidal and former American
Petroleum Institute Policy Adviser
Christopher Kuhman.
Hoidal joins Babst Calland as senior
director of safety in the energy and natural
resources, environmental, and
pipeline and hazmat safety groups.
Hoidal worked for the U.S. Department
of Transportation for 31 years. From
2018 to 2021, he served PHSMA's
pipeline safety office as a senior technical
adviser. Before assuming that role, he
spent 20 years as the pipeline safety office's
Western region director.
Kuhman comes to Babst Calland
as an associate in the energy and
natural resources and pipeline and hazmat
safety groups. He previously
worked as a policy adviser for API,
helping develop the association's legislative
and regulatory positions on
Josh Viets its executive vice president
and chief operating officer.
For the past 20 years, Viets has worked
in operational positions of increasing importance
at ConocoPhillips Co. He most
recently served as vice president of the
Delaware Basin and previously held leadership
positions in operations, engineering,
subsurface and capital projects across ConocoPhillips'
portfolio.

Colonial Pipeline has named Adam
Tice its chief information security officer.
He will oversee Colonial Pipeline's information
and data security program.
Tice previously led security operations,
detection and response, threat intelligence
and investigations at Silicon
Valley Bank. He developed expertise in
navigating post-breach environments by
joining Equifax as the senior vice president
of cyber operations after its 2017
incident. At Equifax, he helped build
and cultivate a team of 130 security
professionals. Earlier in his career, Tice
worked for the cybersecurity consulting
firm Mandiant and the defense contractor
Lockheed Martin.

Ager to serve as program director at a
new office in Durango, Co. Her responsibilities
will include expanding
Ensolum's presence in Colorado, New
Mexico and West Texas, deepening
existing client relationships, and managing
and mentoring staff.
Ager is a geologist with 20 years'
experience in environmental assessment,
remediation and compliance
projects, primarily for oil and gas
clients. Her skills include interpreting
environmental regulations, negotiating
with regulatory agencies for clients
and designing approaches to pending
regulatory changes.

MCCASLAND
The National Stripper Well Association
has appointed Cameron McCasland
to its board of directors.
After working summers with Mack
Energy Co. as a roustabout in field
operations and brokerage firms in
Oklahoma and Louisiana, McCasland
earned a B.B.A. in energy management
from the Price School of Business at
the University of Oklahoma in 2018.
He joined Mack Energy Co. full-time
in the land department in 2019 and
was named assistant vice president in
2021.
McCasland is the fourth McCasland
generation to work at Mack Energy Co.
He is the grandson of T.H. McCasland
Jr., winner of NSWA's 2020 Hero of
the Industry Award.
