NexTier Acquires Provider Of Sand Storage, Logistics
HOUSTON-NexTier Oilfield Solutions
Inc. and NexTier Completion Solutions
Inc. report they have purchased substantially
all assets (and assumed certain
related liabilities) of the sand hauling,
well site storage and last mile logistics
businesses of Continental Intermodal
Group LP ( " CIG " ) and its subsidiaries
from CIG, Continental Intermodal Group-
Trucking LLC and CIG Logistics LLC.
Through the transaction, NexTier Completion
Solutions Inc. owns the rights
and interests in the Sandstorm®
the entire last mile logistics operation as
NexMile Logistics.
In a separate transaction, NexTier diwell
site
storage technology, as well as in certain
other assets previously owned by the sellers,
NexTier mentions.
The company says the acquired assets
will be combined with its last mile logistics
assets to create a leading player in the
delivery and storage of proppant at the
well site. NexTier indicates it will rebrand
vested its coiled tubing business and received
approximately $22 million through
an all-cash transaction.

Baker
Hughes Buying Way To Replace ESPs Quicker
HOUSTON-Baker Hughes reports it
is acquiring AccessESP, which provides
the AccessESP GoRigless electric submersible
pump system.
According to Baker Hughes, this system
reduces the cost and downtime associated
with replacing ESPs by enabling them to
be deployed and retrieved without bringing
a rig on site or pulling the tubing. Instead,
the process only requires conventional,
light-duty intervention equipment.
" Combining AccessESP's alternative
CNX To Power Drilling Rig
With On-Site Natural Gas
PITTSBURGH-CNX Resources Corp.
and Dynamis Power Solutions have agreed
to introduce the Appalachian Basin's first
electric-powered drilling system fueled
entirely by on-site natural gas.
The Dynamis Gas Hybrid Drilling Package
combines efficient, continuous-duty
natural gas reciprocating power generation
with battery energy storage technology to
decrease engine emissions, reduce fuel consumption
and optimize the complete power
system operation, CNX and Dynamis say.
By eliminating on-pad diesel fuel consumption
for drilling rig operations, Dynamis'
electric drilling rig technology
should deliver significant annual fuel savings
and reduce carbon dioxide and nitrous
oxide emissions, CNX and Dynamis say.

To Track Pipeline Projects

TETRA Licenses Methods For Treating, Reusing Water
THE WOODLANDS, TX.-TETRA
Technologies Inc. announces it has entered
exclusive technology licensing agreements
with KMX Technologies LLC and Hyrec
Holdings Co. WLL to support beneficial
produced water reuse. Potential applications
outside the oil and gas industry include
crop irrigation, industrial, power
generation, construction, groundwater
recharge, cooling towers and dust control,
TETRA says.
" With increasing water volumes required
for unconventional completions
and increased seismicity events in key
subsurface disposal locations, advanced
water recycling solutions for beneficial
