TGS Closes Acquisition
Of ION Geophysical Corp.
OSLO, NORWAY-TGS has acquired
the multiclient and processing business
of ION Geophysical Corp. The acquisition
includes substantially all ION's global
offshore multiclient data library, data processing
and imaging capabilities, intellectual
property, and Gemini extended
frequency source technology and equipment,
TGS reports.
PEOPLE
International, Alpha Technologies Ltd., Faronics
Corporation, Datalink Systems and
Polycom in roles spanning product engineering,
product management and sales
and applications engineering.
Liberty Lift Solutions has added Kelly
JEREMY
JACKSON
Warrior Technologies LLC has named
Jeremy Jackson its senior vice president
of business development. He will handle
the company's Midland operations, as
well as the development and construction
of many major mechanical, tank cleaning,
vapor recovery and gas mitigation assets.
Jackson has a background in gas
mitigation and tank cleaning operations.
Before joining Warrior, he served in
various roles for Chevron Corporation
North America, including senior adviser
and gas mitigation subject matter expert
for the Mid-Continent business unit. He
also served as executive vice president
and partner with H Squared Environmental
& Industrial Services.

Kuva Systems, which provides continuous
methane monitoring solutions,
has hired Carlos Santamaria as vice
president of product management.
Before joining Kuva Systems, Santamaria
served as a senior product manager
at Amazon, where he led AWS' Simple
Notification Service, which is critical to
Amazon's cloud infrastructure. Prior to
Amazon, Santamaria worked as global
product line manager at Schneider Electric,
where he conceived and executed the
strategy for a new utility-scale solar inverter
while leading marketing and positioning
efforts. He also served Wind River, Finning
Raper to its team. His 40 years in the
gas lift business span field operations,
sales, safety, manufacturing and executive
management.
Kelly began his gas lift career with
McMurry Hughes after graduating from
Texas A&M in 1983. He has held various
senior management positions with Macco
Oil Tools, Total Energy Services and
Weatherford International. In 2003, he
founded International Lift Systems, and
in 2012, he helped co-found Priority
Energy Services and Priority Artificial
Lift. In 2017, Kelly became president of
Desert Downhole Tools in Midland and
introduced gas lift to its packer and completion
tool business. In 2020, he joined
Beaumont Manufacturing and Distributors,
where he focused on providing equipment
to the artificial lift market.

Chevron Corp. has appointed Alana
K. Knowles as vice president and controller,
effective March 1, 2023. Knowles
will succeed David A. Inchausti, who
will resign from that position effective
February 28, 2023, and is expected to
retire from the company in April 2023,
after 35 years of service.
Knowles will lead Chevron's accounting
policy and external reporting, financial reporting
and analysis, internal controls and
digital finance organizations. She currently
serves as vice president-finance, downstream
and chemicals and midstream.
Knowles began her career with Chevron

in 1988, supporting North America Upstream
in an accounting and finance capacity.
She advanced to positions of increasing
responsibility, including manager
of the Money Markets Group in Corporate
Treasury, finance manager at the Richmond
Refinery, manager of investor relations,
vice president of finance for
Chevron Gas & Midstream, comptroller
for Global Downstream & Chemicals
and assistant treasurer, OpCo Financing.

Crestwood Equity Partners LP has
announced three promotions.
John Black has moved from senior
vice president of finance to executive
vice president and chief financial officer.
Since joining Crestwood in 2014, he
has held various finance roles and played
a critical role in developing and executing
Crestwood's corporate and financial
strategies. Before joining Crestwood,
Black worked at First Reserve and Citi.
Josh Wannarka will succeed Black
as senior vice president of finance. Wannarka
joined Crestwood in 2015, most
recently serving as senior vice president
of investor relations. In his expanded
role, he will continue to have ultimate
leadership over Crestwood's investor
relations team while also overseeing
Crestwood's full financial planning and
analysis function.
Andrew Thorington has been promoted
from vice president of finance to
vice president of finance and investor
relations. In his new role, Thorington
will become Crestwood's primary execution
lead over investor relations while
continuing to lead Crestwood's financial
planning and analysis group. Thorington
joined Crestwood in 2014.

ION's data library consists of more
than 637,000 kilometers of 2-D and
317,000 square kilometers of 3-D multiclient
seismic data in major offshore petroleum
provinces globally, TGS describes.
The company says it has funded the acquisition,
which was concluded as part of
ION's bankruptcy process, from cash
holdings and employed more than 60 ION
employees associated with the acquired
business as part of the transaction.
TGS Chief Executive Officer Kristian
Johansen says, " While we are excited about
taking over another quality data library,
particularly in the South Atlantic, we are
equally pleased to add strong capabilities
to our processing business in terms of software,
hardware, imaging technologies and
people. This marks another important step
to consolidating the geophysical industry
