The Ohio Oil & Gas Association has
hired Stephanie Kromer as OOGA's director
of legislative and regulatory affairs.
Before joining OOGA, Kromer spent
five years at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce,
where she served as director of
external relations and eventually director
of energy and environmental policy.
She also previously served as a legislative
aide to Representative Andy Thompson
in the Ohio House of Representatives,
a project manager at King Strategic
Communications and a legislative assistant
for the National Federation of
Independent Business.

USA Compression Partners LP has
named Michael C. Pearl its chief financial
officer. Pearl has years of experience
leading finance and accounting teams.
He was most recently chief financial officer
at Western Midstream Partners LP,
before which he held multiple finance
roles at Anadarko Petroleum Corp. ❒
Lufkin has appointed Brent Baumann
its chief executive officer.
Baumann joins Lufkin from Weatherford
International, where he served
as senior vice president of global product
lines and chief technology officer, following
his role as president of Weatherford's
completions and production
segments. Before his time at Weatherford,
Baumann held senior leadership roles
at Schlumberger Ltd. and Cameron International
Corp.
Prior to his corporate career, Baumann
served as an officer in the U.S. Army
for seven years, leading teams in multiple
operations domestically and during deployments
to Bosnia, Kosovo and
Afghanistan.

Continental Resources Inc. has promoted
Doug Lawler to president and

chief operating officer.
Lawler joined Continental in February
as chief operating officer and executive
vice president following three decades
in the oil and gas industry. At Continental,
he has shown leadership skills and a
knack for building relationships and teams.
He also has broad experience in every
basin where Continental operates. ❒
The American Petroleum Institute has
promoted Cole Ramsey to vice president
of upstream policy.
Ramsey joined API in 2018 as policy
adviser and project coordinator for The
Environmental Partnership, a program
that brings together companies from
across the industry to continuously improve
environmental performance. Last year,
Ramsey was promoted to counsel in the
office of the general counsel, where he
continued to partner with the upstream
policy team on legal matters.
Before joining API, Ramsey spent six
years working in ExxonMobil's U.S. exploration
and production, gas and power
marketing and refining and supply groups.

Coterra Energy Inc. has announced
three promotions.
Blake Sirgo will become senior vice
president of operations on Oct. 1. Sirgo
has been with the company since 2008,
most recently as vice president of operations.
In his new role, he will be responsible
for environmental, health and safety,
marketing, production and aspects of operations.
Gary
Hlavinka has been named vice
president of the Marcellus business unit.
Hlavinka has spent 33 years at Coterra,
including the past 13 in the Marcellus
business unit, most recently as operations
manager. In that role, Hlavinka oversaw
engineering, production and the day-today
relationship with the Williams Companies,
which gather Coterra's natural
gas in the Marcellus.
Finally, Adam Vela will become vice
president, general counsel on Oct. 1. Vela
has worked at Coterra for 17 years. His
past roles include assistant general counsel
primarily responsible for litigation and
advising business units on legal matters
related to operations, leasing, royalties,
safety and other matters.

ROJO
Opportune LLP has named Daniel
Rojo as co-head and managing director
of Opportune Partners LLC, an independent
investment banking and financial
advisory affiliate.
Rojo joins the investment banking
practice with more than 15 years of energy
investment banking experience.
Most recently, he served as managing
director-head of acquisitions and divestitures
at Wells Fargo Securities,
where he oversaw all A&D and technical
advisory efforts for the energy investment
bank, advising on more than $30 billion
in upstream sell-side and buy-side transactions.
Before Wells Fargo, Rojo was
an associate and one of the founding
members of BNP Paribas' A&D team.

Infrastructure Networks, Inc., which
provides remote communications and
Internet of Things solutions to critical
infrastructure industries, has appointed
Corie Allemand its vice president of
production and midstream solutions.
He will be responsible for leading the
technical sales team.
Allemand has more than 25 years of
sales experience, including sales leadership
roles at Stratus Technologies,
Siemens Industry Inc., Stratos Offshore
Services, Shell Pipeline and Datacomm.
He holds an M.A. in business communications
from the University of Phoenix
and served as a communications specialist
in the U. S. Marine Corps.

Noble Corp. has appointed Ian
Macpherson its vice president of investor
relations. Macpherson previously
served 18 years at Piper Sandler and
its predecessor firm, Simmons Energy,
as lead analyst for the global oil field
services sector, including the offshore
drilling industry.
