KAUTZ
The North Dakota Petroleum Council
has hired Ryan Klute as regulatory affairs
manager and Reva Kautz as communication
director.
Klute will manage NDPC's Regulatory
Committee, focusing on the federal regulatory
landscape and spearheading research
and response for NDPC. Klute is from
York, Ne., and has a B.S. in geology. His
experience as a consultant in the oil and
gas industry gives him regulatory knowledge
from multiple viewpoints.
Kautz will be responsible for shaping
the narrative for members through social
media posts, website updates and other
media requests of NDPC. She also will
take on communications and promotion
aspects for the North Dakota Petroleum
Foundation, assisting Executive Director
Tessa Sandstrom with community outreach
efforts. Kautz was raised in southwest
North Dakota and has worked in
public relations, communication, outreach,
sales and marketing roles in Bismarck,
N.D., for many years.

ProPetro Holding Corp. has appointed
John J. Mitchell its general counsel
and corporate secretary.
Mitchell has more than 15 years of
legal experience in the oil and gas industry.
Before joining ProPetro in 2021
as vice president and deputy general
counsel, he held several senior roles at
Concho Resources, including director
of marketing and midstream and associate
general counsel. He began his
career as an associate at Locke Lord
Bissell & Liddell LLP, concentrating
on oil, gas and energy litigation and
construction litigation.

named Lynn Granger region director
for the Midwest and Mountain West regions.
Granger
has served as executive director
of API Colorado since 2019. Before joining
API Colorado, Granger led operational
and strategic execution for Colorado Concern,
supporting legislative candidates
and statewide policies that promote Colorado's
economic future. She also has
worked as the communications director
for the Colorado Department of Revenue,

promotions.
Tom Morrow has become vice president
of operations support. He will be
responsible for operations planning,
field environment, health and safety and
regulatory compliance, facility engineering,
supply chain management,
measurement and the Midland office.
Morrow has spent 16 years with SM.
Richard Jenkins has been appointed
vice president of operations, a role that
entails responsibility for company-wide
drilling, completion and production operations.
He has been with SM Energy
for 12 years.
Susie Piehl has been named vice
president of human resources. She has
worked at SM Energy for 13 years. ❒
