BCCK Helps Gas Plant Recover More Propane
MIDLAND-BCCK relates it has
applied G2R-Flex®
to enhance propane
recovery for a premier midstream group
in Ohio's Marcellus-Utica area.
At a gas subcooled process (GSP)
cryogenic facility capable of handling
200 million cubic feet of gas a day, the
skidded, patent-pending G2R-Flex increased
propane recoveries to greater
than 99% in ethane rejection mode,
BCCK details. The company says the
technology also raises performance in
ethane recovery.
" With increased propane prices,
BCCK is continually working to improve
overall project economics for our customers.
Our latest design, G2R-Flex,
will further optimize recoveries to exceed
customer expectations for natural gas
liquid extraction, " says BCCK Executive

G2R-Flex can enhance recoveries at
many existing GSP cryogenic gas processing
facilities, Hall assesses. He describes
the technology as a simple, efficient
and effective modification that
maximizes profitability by boosting both
efficiencies and recoveries.

APA Joins Global Initiative
To Cut Methane Emissions
HOUSTON-APA Corp. announces
it has joined the Oil and Gas Methane
Partnership 2.0, the United Nations Environment
Program's flagship oil and gas
reporting and mitigation program.
OGMP 2.0 engages with oil and gas
companies on methane emissions reduction
and helps improve the accuracy and transparency
of methane emissions reporting,
APA says. The company adds that the
program is the only comprehensive, measurement-based
international reporting
framework for the sector.

New Halliburton Venture Helps Tackle Emissions
HOUSTON-To help companies manage
emissions and reduce their total
carbon footprint, Halliburton Co. says it
is partnering with investment firm Siguler
Guff & Co. LP to launch Envana Software
Partners LLC.
The venture's first offering, Envana
Catalyst, is a software-as-a-service solution
for understanding the environmental impact
of drilling, completions and production
operations, Halliburton describes.
The company says the solution can improve
the visibility of greenhouse gas
emissions tracking and forecasting, and
support actionable recommendations
throughout upstream asset life, from planning
and design through execution.
Envana Catalyst allows customers to
choose the methodologies for estimating
emissions from a library of emissions
sources tailored to the oil and gas industry,
update them as needed, and track any
changes, Halliburton mentions.
With its documented application programming
interface, the company continues,
Envana Catalyst can integrate with existing
customer software to automate emissions
forecasting and tracking. Alternately, users

software's interface. Halliburton says it
uses Envana Catalyst internally to help
monitor and manage the emissions footprint
of its products and services.

progress toward reducing methane emissions

APA says its steps to reduce emissions
include eliminating routine flaring in U.S.
onshore operations in 2021 and reducing
upstream routine flaring in Egypt by 40%
in 2022. This year, APA expresses plans
to convert more than 2,000 pneumatic
devices in its U.S. operations to cleaner
technologies.
