Oilfield Helping Hands Marks 20th Anniversary
HOUSTON-Oilfield Helping Hands
notes it has spent the past two decades
providing support to industry families
who are experiencing a financial crisis
through no fault of their own.

years of working together to make a difference

Pate, the nonprofit's chairman of the
board. " OHH is dedicated to providing a
hand up, and we are focused on the needs
of our recipients through our vast fundraising

Since 2003, OHH calculates it has
given $5.9 million to more than 1,000
industry workers and their families. The
organization began as a small fundraising
effort for a family facing unforeseen medical
expenses. Today, it has five active
chapters: Appalachia, the Haynesville,
the Permian Basin, the Rocky Mountains
and the flagship location in Houston.
" It has been a wonderful 20 years, "
Pate reflects. " No one could have predicted

into what OHH is today. We appreciate

agreement with solar company Vast Pty
Ltd., Nabors has presented a vision for
energy transition efforts that it dubs " Energy

augments the training environment,

Wild Well Control says the simulations
allow students to experience in real time
the hazards they may encounter when
dealing with onshore and offshore wells.

can transform the classroom environment
to allow students to maximize
their learning potential. "
The initial launch site for the new
simulator environment will be in Houston,
but Wild Well Control has committed
to converting all U.S. locations by the
close of 2023.
