New Company Launches
To Upgrade Compressors
HOUSTON-Vincent Volpe, the former
chief executive officer of DresserRand,
and private equity firm Bluewater
have launched Fox Innovation & Technologies.
The company indicates it will
improve, modify and service existing
compressors and turbines to increase their
efficiency and reduce operating costs.
FIT says it has developed a proprietary
technology and design approach to produce
impellers and associated gas flow paths
that maximize the efficiency and operating
range of in-service equipment while mitigating
performance degradation resulting

BAKER
BCCK has promoted Naomi Baker
to vice president of engineering. She
will be responsible for BCCK's engineering
and design principles throughout
the company.
Baker joined BCCK in 2022 as the
director of engineering and has managed
all engineering entities, including process,
mechanical, instrument and electrical
design. She has more than 30 years of
experience in gas processing operations,
engineering, design and business development.
Baker holds a B.S. in chemical
engineering from Texas Tech University,
and she is co-inventor on 14
patents related to natural gas liquids recovery
processes.

California Resources Corp. has appointed
Nicole Parra its vice president
of community affairs. She will be responsible
for engaging community
stakeholders to strengthen CRC's local
partnerships and enact regional community
benefits plans for CRC's lowcarbon
oil and natural gas and carbon
management businesses.
Parra has spent most of her life in
public service, with 30 years of legislative
and political experience. Most recently,
she served as director of the California
Renewable Energy Laboratory at the Kern
Community College District. Before that,
she was elected to the California State
Assembly for three terms, served in the
Business, Transportation and Housing
Agency and worked for now-retired U.S.
Congressman Cal Dooley.

NASLAUSKY
Brazil-focused Petro-Victory Energy
Corp. has named Andre Naslausky its
chief operating officer.
Naslausky previously served as the
managing director of Maha Energy Brazil,
an independent onshore oil and gas producer
that was acquired by PetroReconcavo,
where he successfully oversaw the
company's concession areas in Brazil. In
this role, he ensured safe achievement of
production targets, implemented oil and
gas offtake strategies and optimized capital
expenditures.
Before his tenure at Maha Energy,
Naslausky served as a senior adviser at
3R Petroleum (3R Offshore), playing a
pivotal role in structuring a new organiW&T
Offshore Inc. has appointed
Sameer Parasnis its executive vice
president and chief financial officer.
Parasnis has 25 years of financial
and operational experience, of which
20 have been in banking. He has advised
companies on equity capital markets,
debt capital markets and strategic mergers
and acquisitions. Before joining W&T.
Parasnis served as managing director of
Stifel Financial Corp.'s energy and energy
transition team in Houston. He started
his investment banking career at Credit
Suisse, where he worked for eight years
on several notable domestic and international
deals in the oil and gas industry,
including initial public offerings, highyield
debt offerings and spin-offs. ❒

a cartridge that can fit in any
OEM's existing compressor casing with
a simple bespoke design process using
internal detailed criteria sources from
end-user clients' files. According to the
company, the cartridge can be inserted
into the existing casing when the equipment
is made available during planned
turnaround and maintenance periods.
As its first major act, FIT reports it
has acquired Texas-based Revak Keene
Turbomachinery. Founded in 1981, Revak
specializes in remanufacturing, upgrading
and re-rating steam turbines, pumps,
gears, compressors and complete steam
turbine systems, FIT describes. The new
company says Revak's 350,000 square
foot headquarters in Houston provides a
strategic presence and manufacturing base
from which it can grow.

Bluewater, which previously invested in
Dresser-Rand, says, " We are delighted
