OTC Honors Innovations Reshaping Offshore Work
HOUSTON-The Offshore Technology
Conference has revealed the winners of its
2024 Spotlight on New Technology Award.
The award is reserved for OTC exhibitors
who are reshaping the offshore
energy sector through innovation and
technology development, OTC says. According
to the conference, recipients are
selected based on five criteria: product
uniqueness, degree of ingenuity, demonstrated
success, commercial viability and

unit for monitoring subsea pipelines.
Jerry Jones Again Invests
In Comstock Resources
FRISCO, TX.-Comstock Resources
Inc. announces that its majority shareholder,
Jerry Jones, has agreed to make
a $100.5 million equity investment in
the company. Following the transaction,
which is subject to customary closing
conditions, Jones will own about 67%
of the company's common shares outstanding,
up from 65%.
Comstock indicates it will use the investment's
proceeds to pay down bank
debt that was partially incurred to fund
several recently completed acquisitions
of 200,000 net undeveloped acres in the
western Haynesville for $58.7 million.

HOUSTON-BCCK announces a
contract award from a repeat customer
for a NiTech®
dual-tower nitrogen rejection
unit (NRU) that will be in West Texas.

feet of gas a day, the NRU will extract
