HOUSTON-Expro reports it has
completed its 100th job with SeaCure®
,
a cementing technology.
The milestone was reached as part of
a project in Australia consisting of a fivewell
subsea batch campaign, Expro relates.
The company says SeaCure (which originally
was developed by DeltaTek, a company
it acquired in 2023) played a pivotal
role in maintaining quality primary cementation
of the conductors while mitigating
several risks associated with placement
of the cement slurry. This was
achieved through a proprietary stabbedin
inner string technique, Expro relates.
By using the SeaCure system and implementing
post-cementing circulation by
way of the inner annulus until slurry
curing was complete, Expro indicates it
successfully has engineered the risk to
the minimum, providing reliable installation
of the top holes.

CNX Resources Ally On Flowback Automation
ZELIENOPLE, PA.-Deep Well Services
and CNX Resources Corp. have
formed a joint venture to launch AutoSepSM
Technologies, which they introduce as a
service company that will significantly
improve flowback operations.
The partnership's first product is an
automated flowback system for modern,
high-rate and erosive unconventional shale
wells, DWS and CNX say. According to
the companies, the extremely compact
system can be deployed in a fraction of
the time and requires less labor, while
reducing costs, improving safety and
shrinking environmental impacts.
" Leveraging CNX's proprietary and
patent pending technology, AutoSep's
flowback solution simplifies and automates
this early production phase significantly,
reducing the footprint, hard iron connections,
manpower required and any inherent
safety risks involved in performing such
tasks, " comments David Mulvihill, DWS'

Blackline Safety Awarded Record-Setting Contract
CALGARY-Blackline Safety Corp.
says it is celebrating its largest contract
to date, an $8.5 million deal to protect
1,025 workers at a major North American
midstream company.
The contract expands a $3.5 million
agreement that was announced in September
2023 and covered more than
850 workers, Blackline says. With the
new contract, Blackline indicates its devices
protect almost all the midstream
firm's field and site workers.
The midstream company purchased
1,025 G7 wearable gas-detection and
lone worker devices, along with monitoring
services. It also purchased 753 G7 bridges
to keep workers connected in remote
areas through satellites, Blackline details.

Rescues Well From P&A
BERWYN, PA.-SandBOND™, a
patent-pending nonresin sand consolidation
technology, has proven its prowess by revitalizing
a dormant well in Saskatchewan,
Canada, that had been off line for more
than a decade because of persistent sand
production, TenEx Technologies reports.
Following a single SandBond treatment,
the well consistently produced around 600
barrels a day, with up to 15 barrels of oil
and zero sand flowback, TenEx details.
The company says the well was previously
designated to be plugged and abandoned.
The treatment was meticulously tailored
to the specific conditions of the reservoir
based on lab testing with produced sand,
oil and water samples from the well,
TenEx recalls. According to the company,
the results showed that SandBond and
the activator, at recommended concentrations,
would consolidate the formation
sand, maintaining 100% regain permeability
without the need for pre-flush or
post-flush procedures.
Operationally, the treatment involved
pumping SandBOND and the activator
with produced water using standard pressure
pumping trucks, TenEx describes.
The company says the entire process was
executed in five minutes.
