WhiteWater Reaches FID
On Louisiana Pipeline
AUSTIN, TX.-WhiteWater reports
reaching a final investment decision to
move forward with the Pelican Pipeline
after having secured sufficient firm
transportation agreements with shippers.
The Pelican Pipeline is designed to
transport as much as 1.75 billion cubic
feet a day of natural gas through
approximately 170 miles of 36-inch
pipeline from Williams, La., to the Gillis
Hub near Ragley, La. WhiteWater says
supply for the pipeline will be sourced
from multiple upstream connections in
the Haynesville Basin, including direct
connections to processing facilities.
The company predicts the project
will be in service in the first half of
2027, pending receipt of customary
regulatory and other approvals.
WhiteWater says it is partnering
with FIC, Stonepeak and Trace Capital
Management on the Pelican Pipeline
project. ❒

Increase To 7.2% Above
Historical U.S. Levels
WASHINGTON-Underground
natural gas storage in the United States
stood at 3.967 trillion cubic feet on Nov.
22, 7.2% above the five-year average,
according to the U.S. Energy
Information Administration. That was
up 104 billion cubic feet from the 3.863
Tcf in storage on Oct. 25, and 143 Bcf
more than a year ago, when gas storage
stood at 3.833 Tcf.
Gas storage in the East Region was
929 Bcf on Nov. 22, 3.8% above the fiveyear
average, and 10 Bcf more than on
Oct. 25, when storage stood at 919 Bcf.
East Region gas storage on Nov. 22 rose
13 Bcf from a year ago, EIA reports.
In the Midwest, gas storage stood at

1.134 Bcf on Nov. 22, 5.0% above the
five-year average and 180 Bcf less than
the 1.109 Bcf in storage on Oct. 25,
which was 2.8% above the five-year
average. Nov. 22 Midwest gas storage
was 21 Bcf more than a year ago.
In the Mountain Region, EIA
continues, gas storage was 292 Bcf on
Nov. 22, 32.1% above the five-year
average and 1 Bcf more than the 291
Bcf stored on Oct. 25, which was 29.3%
above the five-year average. Nov. 22 gas
storage in the Mountain Region was 39
Bcf more than a year ago.
The Pacific Region's gas in storage
was 310 Bcf on Nov. 22, 10.7% above
the five-year average and 5 Bcf more
than the 305 Bcf stored on Oct. 25,
which was 8.5% above the five-year
average. Pacific Region gas storage on
Nov. 22 was up 13 Bcf from a year ago.
In the South-Central Region, gas
storage levels on Nov. 22 were 1.301
Tcf, 6.4% above the five-year average
and 61 Bcf more than the 1.240 Tcf in
storage on Oct. 25, which was 3.3%
above the five-year average. The Nov.
22 gas storage level for the SouthCentral
Region was up 47 Bcf from a
year ago. ❒
