Parr as executive vice president of exploration
and geosciences.
Parr is an experienced petroleum
geologist with more than 30 years of

multiple global organizations. Most recently,
he served as vice president of
global new ventures for Woodside Energy,
where he was responsible for
core exploration and business development
activities worldwide while also
supporting upstream mergers and acquisitions.
Preceding BHP's merger
with Woodside in 2022, Parr served as
head of growth, petroleum for BHP
Petroleum. His other past roles include
director of international exploration
for Anadarko Petroleum Corp., vice
president of international new ventures
and the Gulf of Mexico for APA (formerly
Apache) Corp. and director of
exploration and business development
for Cabot Oil & Gas Corp.

Mammoth Energy Services Inc. is
promoting Phil Lancaster, its vice president
of corporate development, to chief
executive officer.
Lancaster has more than 20 years of
experience in the energy industry. He
served as interim president of Cobra Acquisitions
LLC, Higher Power Electrical
LLC and 5 Star Electric LLC, Mammoth's
infrastructure subsidiaries, from June
2019 to November 2019. Before that, he
was president of Mammoth Energy Partners
LP from 2014 to 2015; CEO of
Redback Energy Services LLC from 2011
to 2015; and CEO of Great White Energy

Luke has joined O'Melveny's Houston
office as a partner in the energy industry
group.
Recognized as a leading Texas energy
lawyer by Chambers USA and the U.S.
division of The Legal 500, Luke comes
to O'Melveny from the Houston office
of McDermott Will & Emery, where he
was a member of the energy and project
finance group. He has nearly 15 years
of experience representing business owners
and investors in the energy industry.
His practice focuses on advising public
companies and upstream and midstream
energy companies backed by major private
equity sponsors, but he also assists
companies in the manufacturing, technology
and service sectors.

The GTI Energy Board of Directors
has added Jesus Soto Jr. as a new
director and re-elected Michael Webber
for another term as a director. Several
officers were also elected to new terms,
including Nickolas Stavropoulos as
board chair; John W. Somerhalder II
as board vice chair; Paula A. Gant as
president and chief executive officer;
Ronald Snedic as senior vice president
of corporate development; and Quinton
Ford as senior vice president of technology
development, general counsel
and secretary.
Soto serves as executive vice president
of the utility performance solutions division
at Quanta Services Inc. He has
more than two decades of leadership
in engineering and construction for
natural gas and electric infrastructure,
telecom and pipeline integrity. Before
joining Quanta itself, he served as
chief operations officer for Mears
Group, a Quanta Services company.
He also led gas operations at Pacific
Gas & Electric Co., the second largest
natural gas system in the United States,
providing service to 16 million people
across California.

Verde Clean Fuels Inc., which converts
stranded natural gas and biomass
waste into renewable gasoline for combustion
engine vehicles, has appointed
George Burdette its chief financial officer.
Before joining Verde, he served
as CFO of Arbor Renewable Gas, a
private equity-owned renewable fuels
platform. Burdette also has served as
CFO of Itafos, a publicly traded global
phosphate fertilizer producer.
