the Departure, Destination, Route, location information, etc. as
applicable to the type of briefing that you are requesting.

In the same pull down menu where you selected the Pushed
Weather Brief (See top of the front page), you can manage
your PWBs. To do this, select the "View/Modify PWB Requests". You will see a list of all of your scheduled PWBs:

After you have entered the above information, you need to enter
the time you want the briefing to be sent. You will be allowed to
send a briefing anytime up to your proposed departure time. You
can enter this time in the "Delivery Time" field on the form. The
Minutes prior to Departure will automatically be calculated for
your convenience. Note that the delivery time must be entered in
the same time zone as your Departure Time, i.e. UTC, EST, etc.

You will see the Scheduled Time, the Location and Destination (if applicable) and a status. If the status is "Scheduled"
you will be able to click on the Modify/Cancel button at the
leftmost column for that entry. This will bring up the original
PWB form, allowing you to change any and all entries in that
form or cancel the request altogether.

If the status is "Delivered" then you cannot change the PWB,

time will be calculated. Additionally you may use the slider bar to was sent.

Next, you will need to enter the desired weather types for your
briefing, e.g. METAR, FA,FT. Once that is completed, you will
need to select the delivery options. The output of the PWB can be
delivered in Plain Text or PDF if you are sending it to an email

address, and PDF or HTML if you are sending it via a text message to a smart cell phone. If you are sending the notification to
your cell phone, the screen provides a dropdown list of major cell
phone service providers, so all you need to enter is your cell number and the system will automatically form the correct email address. When the PWB arrives at your cell phone, if you selected
HTML, it will contain a link which will open up a custom web
page containing your briefing. If you selected PDF, the attachment
will open in a PDF reader.
Finally, click on the "Schedule Pushed Briefing" button to submit
your request. If you want multiple PWBs to be sent, you will need
to fill out the form again, but remember, the form will retain all
applicable information from a prior briefing of filing of a flight
plan so re-entering of information is kept to a minimum.

only request this service for IFR flight plans, otherwise the
check box will be grayed out. You will only be sent a message if there are any changes to the route or if the change to
the departure time exceeds 30 minutes. If there are further
changes to your flight plan, you will also receive those
changes. If there have not been any changes to the flight
plan that was accepted by the FAA, you will not receive
any messages.
Once you have checked either one or both of the notification boxes, you will need to enter a valid email or text
(SMS) message address. For emails, simply enter the address in the standard form, i.e. smith@myservice.com. If
you want to send it to your cell phone's text message service, you need to enter the cell phone's email address, for
example 5555551212@vtext.com. You can find this out
from your cell phone provider or click on the "Help"
icon located before each of the notification checkboxes.
The help contains the email sites to the major cell phone
carriers.
