There's been talk recently of closing Stovepipe Wells Airport but thanks to continuing conversations between the U.S. Forest Service and advocates of the airport like the Recreational Aviation Foundation, it will remain open for now. If you want to go to Death Valley, show the value of this airport to the Forest Service by using it, supporting groups like the RAF, and voicing your support in keeping it as a vital access point to a national park. -AH
