one-size-fits-all, the review is tailored to
address individual pilot needs, making it
unique and practical.

skills check with a curriculum that
works in conjunction with the FAAmandated
flight review. The FFR adds
value to the flight review by identifying
and addressing areas of potential
weakness in a pilot's skill set. It uses
a range of safety-related topics, fostering
a greater understanding of safe
flight practices.
Pilots can select from various profiles
pertinent to their specific flight
operations, proficiency gaps, or interests.
Through an online interactive
platform, pilots can choose modules of
relevance to them. These topics range
from " Positive Aircraft Control " or
are supplied with resources to help
deliver effective and tailored in-flight
instruction aligned with the chosen
profiles of each pilot. This collaborative
learning environment fosters an
engaging and enriching experience for
both parties.
The overall goal of the FFR program
is to promote an ongoing commitment
to flight safety among pilots.
This aligns with one of the AOPA Air
Safety Institute's philosophies that
every flight is an opportunity for learning
and improvement. The FFR serves
as a tool to foster this learning, encouraging
pilots to continually evaluate and
