Resolutions Submission Deadlines for 2012 December 19, 2011 Non-emergency resolutions calling for the expenditure of more than $10,000 must be submitted by this date. January 18, 2012 Non-emergency resolutions calling for the expenditure of $1,000 to $9,999 must be submitted by this date. February 2, 2012 Proposed changes to the APMA Administrative Procedures must be submitted by this date. Such changes should be submitted in the same format as a proposed change to the APMA Bylaws. February 17, 2012 Non-emergency resolutions calling for the expenditure of less than $1,000 must be submitted by this date. March 19, 2012 Emergency resolutions must be submitted prior to 12 p.m. on this date. Resolutions Submission Information Mandated by the APMA Administrative Procedures The Resolution Preparation Guidelines have been created to assist sponsors in the development of a resolution. The guidelines may be found at www.apma. org/hod/resolutionguidelines. The Resolution Financial Impact Form should accompany each resolution and is available at www.apma.org/hod/financialim pactform. One-Year Sports Medicine, Reconstructive Surgery, and Practice Preparation Fellowship About University Foot and Ankle Institute The Fellowship Position he fellowship position is offered for a one-year period starting July 2012 and extending until June 2013. Three-year surgical training preferred, but two-year surgical training will also be considered. The goal of the fellowship is to improve and expand the training that was received in residency and to educate the fellow to the demands of running a practice with all aspects of billing, patient education, physician relations, and office administration considered. The fellow is responsible for assistance in patient care, coverage of the emergency room as primary call and assistance with surgeries performed by all eight members of the staff. The fellow will also be responsible for completion of two academic papers for publication prior to the end of their fellowship.
