Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, 2007. Accomplishment: Elected treasurer and member of the board of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. n Sahani Howie, DPM, Bridgeport, CT Graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, 2007. Accomplishment: Awarded the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care Fall Wound Care Podiatrist Scholarship in September 2012. n Roderick Hunter Jr., DPM, Harker Heights, TX Graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, 2009. Accomplishments: Received certification as an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Became a new associate for Ledger Foot and Ankle Clinic. • • n Stanley Idiculla, DPM, Vienna, VA Graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, 2004. Accomplishments: Continuing to build connections and relationships with politicians in Washington, DC, to promote podiatrists and physicians in general by talking about the Helping Ensure Life- and Limb-Saving Access to Podiatric Physicians Act, the Medicare Sustainable Growth Rate, medical liability reform, and other issues. Selected as a delegate to the Republican Virginia State Convention to vote for the next candidates for governor, attorney general, and lieutenant governor. Met with Eric Cantor, majority leader for the 112th and 113th Congress, in Richmond, VA, to discuss the Affordable Care Act, the importance of protecting the patient–doctor relationship, and overall improvements to our health-care system. Elected president of the Northern Virginia Podiatric Medical Association. • n Leslie Johnston, DPM, Tampa, FL Graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine), 2009. Publication: Underlying Synovial Sarcoma in a Patient with a History of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery) n Justin Ogbonna, DPM, Boston Graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, 2007. Accomplishment: Serving as faculty attending in the Department of Podiatry and clinical instructor in the Department of Surgery at Boston Medical Center and Boston University School of Medicine. n Nere Onosode, DPM, Louisville, KY Graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, 2009. Accomplishments: Invited to speak about the diabetic foot and podiatric medicine on Kentucky PBS station (KET), hosted by Wayne Tuckson, MD. Appointed assistant clinical professor of Orthopedics at The University of Louisville. Recently joined the OrthoCare Institute in Irving, TX, as the first podiatrist on staff. • • • n Donald Pelto, DPM, Worcester, MA Graduated from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, 2006. Accomplishment: Recently developed a foot wound-healing podcast and website open to the public, www.HealMyFootWoundFast.com. n Adrianne Ross, DPM, Atlanta Graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, 2008.
