MASSACHUSETTS-The Department of Surgery/Podiatry at the VA Boston Healthcare System is recruiting for one full-time podiatrist. The
successful candidate will have completed a Podiatric Surgery Residency, be board-qualified or
board-certified by the American Board of Foot
and Ankle Surgery, possess sound clinical and
surgical skills with an emphasis and interest in
complicated diabetic limb salvage. In addition to
solid forefoot surgical skills, the successful candidate should have advanced midfoot and rearfoot/
ankle reconstructive surgical skills. The successful candidates will have documented educational
experience and research interest with intent to
advance the scientific knowledge of podiatric
surgery. Education: Degree of doctor of podiatric
medicine, or its equivalent, from a school of podiatric medicine approved by the Secretary of
Veterans Affairs. Approved schools are United
States schools of podiatric medicine approved by
the Council on Podiatric Medical Education
(CPME) in the year in which the degree was
granted. Licensure: License to practice podiatry
in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of Massachusetts or Virginia, or in the District of Columbia. Podiatrists are required to possess full and
unrestricted licensure and to maintain current
registration in their state of licensure if this is a
