The Legacy Circle Honoring those who have remembered the APMA Educational Foundation in their estate plans. MEET OUR NEWEST MEMBER "A view that I don't go along with is that podiatry owes me something, for it has given me great satisfaction and the opportunity for continued learning and growth. Coupled with this is the fact that my DNA is instilled with the concept of giving back and my love of trees. There's a Greek proverb that reads, 'Society grows great when older people plant trees under whose shade they shall never sit.' Bequeathing to the next generation is an essential human project. "My legacy gift is my way of demonstrating gratitude for having been a recipient of an APMA student scholarship and the dedicated work of the APMA Foundation. It's my way of cultivating those trees that have brought much happiness and fulfillment into my life. I challenge all my colleagues who are foundation recipients to consider joining the APMA Legacy Circle." -Janet E. Simon, DPM The Legacy Circle Douglas T. Gillis, DPM Ira H.
