budget has been reviewed, analyzed, and scrutinized throughout the fiscal year. We continue to develop a budget that supports and reflects the five pillars of our Strategic Plan: Advocate, Educate, Research, Lead, and Manage. Furthermore, we
have accomplished this without raising dues in six years!
In addition, APMA has added new streams of non-dues income. With the establishment of APMA Services, Inc., we now
have a home for our national health insurance solutions for
members in both small and large groups. Securing non-dues
revenue while addressing and meeting the ongoing needs of
our members is a high priority at APMA.
I look forward to continuing my work as APMA treasurer,
and I ask for your continued support and reelection. APMA will
continue to move forward as our profession's premier association. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our members and their patients. Thanks again for all your support!

Candidate for Election as
Young Physician Member
of the Board of Trustees

Since being appointed to my current position as the Young Physician
liaison to the Board of Trustees, I have
gained important knowledge and insight regarding the functions of the
board and the amount of dedication and work required of a
board member. It is with this knowledge that I am interested in
becoming the elected, voting Young Physician member of the
Board of Trustees.
Under my leadership, the Young Physician Leadership Panel
(YPLP) has created the panel's mission and vision statement,
along with strategic planning goals for the future. I would like
to see these goals come to fruition. In my tenure, we have also
worked to create and update materials focused on the education and development of our young physicians, such as the
APMA Podcast.
I care deeply about the future of our profession, which I feel
starts with our young APMA members. Being successful in this
role requires not only being able to voice the concerns and needs
of young physicians to the board, but also being able to relay the
work and importance of APMA to my fellow young physicians.
Having a voice on the board will allow me to continue the work
of the YPLP and better the future of our profession.
It has been an honor to serve in this role and to see firsthand
the value APMA places on young physicians and our role in the
organization. I greatly hope to continue my service to the board
and to all members of APMA.
