Dr. Ratcliff Elected AAPSM President
The American Academy
of Podiatric Sports Medicine
(AAPSM) is pleased to announce that James Ratcliff,
DPM, of Los Gatos, CA, became AAPSM president on
January 1. He serves as team
podiatrist for Kain Performance LLC, the Bay Area's
premier provider of online
coaching and training for
multi-sport events. He has

Girls on the Run 5K Race since 2013. With his background,
training, and experience treating athletes, Dr. Ratcliff is
uniquely qualified to advance AAPSM in the podiatric
sports medicine community.
In his spare time, Dr. Ratcliff enjoys surfing, skiing, and
5K and 10K races. He is certified by the American Board
of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He received his
DPM degree in 1991 from the California School of Podiatric Medicine.
