The APMA Educational Foundation raised more than $163,000 in 2019 from our
generous donors. This year, we seek to maintain our momentum to provide eligible
podiatric medical students with the funding they need to pursue careers in podiatry. We began by raising more than $16,000 on Giving Tuesday on December 3, 2019.
When you make a contribution to the Annual Giving Campaign by March 4, your
name will be included in the campaign kick-off as a 2020 donor.
I am grateful for APMA being a strong rock holding our profession together and advancing our field in
so many ways. As a fourth-year student on rotations, [I find] this funding extremely useful in reducing
the costs of an expensive year.

Thank you so much for your generosity and for awarding me a scholarship on behalf of the J. Edward
Stricker, DPM, Memorial fund. I can't even begin to tell you how much this scholarship means to me
and how much it helps me continue my podiatric medical education. I am currently enjoying my podiatry
rotation at the Miami VA and learning as much as I can. I can confirm that I picked a wonderful field to work
in, and I am very proud of my profession. Thank you again.

I am honored to be the recipient of the APMA Educational Foundation Student Scholarship. Thanks to
your generous support, I am able to continue my educational pursuit of being a foot and ankle surgeon.
With this degree, I plan to bring hope and comfort to those with foot and ankle problems-the same
hope that was given to me after a major rock climbing accident. Once again, I would like to thank you
