The National: An Educational
Conference and So Much More
The APMA 2022 Annual Scientifi c Meeting (The
National; www.apma.org/thenational), July 28-31
in Orlando, FL, provides attendees with up to 27.5
CECH from a robust educational program featuring
a diverse, renowned faculty. And while you will leave
the meeting with a lot of credits and plenty of clinical
nuggets, The National has so much more to off er.
The conference provides a tremendous number of
opportunities for professional growth while also improving
your practice effi ciency and patient care.
After listening to Michael DeGere, DPM, give
the opening session keynote address, attendees
will head to the exhibit hall for the Grand Opening
Reception and your fi rst opportunity to check out
the more than 130 vendors at The National. Enjoy
light fare and drinks while mingling with colleagues
and connecting with your reps. From surgical
equipment to inserts and practice management
software to topicals, if a podiatrist needs it, you will
fi nd it in our exhibit hall. Be sure to visit the exhibit
hall throughout the meeting.
While in the exhibit hall, be sure to stop by the
APMA booth (#707). APMA staff will be present
to answer your questions on a variety of topics,
including coding and billing, national and local
legislative activities, MIPS, the APMA Registry,
young physician resources, and more. You can
also donate to the APMA Educational Foundation
and register for the Team APMA 5K Run/Walk. The
National is your opportunity to interact with your
association staff face-to-face, so bring your issues
and concerns.
Next to the APMA booth, you will fi nd the APMA
Career Center (#607). In this area you can peruse
the online APMA Career Center, review other
career resources, and check out job seekers and
employers in attendance at The National. Be on

The National has an abundance of non-CECH
educational opportunities. Because the exhibit
hall does not open until after the opening
session on Thursday afternoon, the only complimentary
lunch options available to attendees

on Thursday are non-CECH lunch symposia.
Fortunately, you have four choices! There is also
a non-CECH dinner on Thursday, two lunches on
Friday, and one lunch on Saturday. Additionally,
you can learn about cutting-edge technology
at the Innovation Cafés. These short non-CECH
education sessions take place in the exhibit hall
during the morning scanning breaks on Friday
and Saturday.
Attendees will get the most out of their experience
