(MGH) is seeking a Doctor of Podiatric
Medicine to join our growing podiatry
service. The podiatry service is a
section of the Division of Foot & Ankle
Surgery within the Department of
Orthopaedics. This position represents
a unique opportunity for the right
individual to build a highly resourced,
technology-based, forefoot surgical
and non-surgical practice at one of the
world's leading academic health-care

As a member of our renowned
Foot and Ankle Center Orthopaedic
team, the successful candidate will
provide technology-based as well as
forefoot surgical and non-surgical care
for a diverse range of patients having

successful candidate will become an
integral member of the Orthopaedic
Foot and Ankle Service at MGH and
will report directly to the director of
podiatric services.
Experience
* Candidates should be able to
demonstrate, by virtue of training
and experience, expertise in
the evaluation and treatment of
a wide variety of foot and ankle
pathologies.
* Board eligibility or certification in podiatric
surgery or podiatric medicine
is required.
* Knowledge and experience in noninvasive,
technology-based modalities,
including shock wave therapy,
ultrasound, Tekscan, as well as
other evolving modalities including
Orthobiologics, is preferred.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Run a high-volume, forefoot surgical
and non-surgical based, outpatient
practice, in a growing nationally
recognized foot and ankle program
at MGH.
* Participate in the surgical care of the
MGH/NWH Foot and Ankle Center,
podiatric population.
* Must be able to work closely with
a multidisciplinary team including
foot and ankle orthopedic surgeons,
physical therapists, fellows, residents,
and students.
* Demonstrate a willingness and
interest in podiatric research and
publication.
* Provide outpatient clinical care in
a variety of MGH locations, including:
MGH Main Campus (Boston),
MGH/NWH Foot & Ankle Center
(Waltham, MA), and affiliated MGH
Health Centers.
* Provide call coverage, on a rotating
basis, with other members of the
podiatry service.
* Participate in inpatient consults.
* Participate in weekly meetings and
academic conferences.

NEW MEXICO-Santa Fe. Our group is
seeking a full-time surgical podiatrist,
with a potential track to partnership
in two to three years, to join our busy
and well-respected practice. This
position will step directly into a very
busy and established practice that will
allow the full scope of foot and ankle
care. The current practitioner in the
Santa Fe clinic is slowly transitioning
to our Albuquerque clinic; therefore,
the entire clinic will transition to the
new practitioner. The current physician
in Santa Fe was able to amass
enough cases in two years to sit
for and pass both the forefoot and
the rearfoot boards. There are also
potential options to do some work in
Albuquerque at our additional clinic.
The call schedule is fairly light, yet it
can be as busy as personally desired,
and there is also an opportunity to
teach at the VA residency program in
Albuquerque. Our group is currently
offering $160−$175K, and the realistic
potential at the end of the first
year is $200−$250K+. This position
