* Knowledge of psychopharmacology
for the management of pain or
mental health conditions related to
foot problems
* Prescribe medications and treatments
for foot-related conditions
* Provide patient education on
foot care and prevention of foot
problems
* Collaborate with other health-care
professionals to develop comprehensive
treatment plans
* Conduct discharge planning for
patients requiring ongoing foot care
or rehabilitation
* Prescribe and fit durable medical
equipment (DME) such as orthotics
or braces
