The APMA 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting (The

Steinberg, DPM. Dr. Steinberg is a professor and
full-time faculty member of the department of Plastic
and Reconstructive Surgery at Georgetown University
School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He currently
serves as co-director of the Center for Wound
Healing at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital,
program director for the MedStar Health PMSR/RRA,
and a faculty member for the Georgetown Diabetic
Limb Salvage Research Fellowship.
Dr. Steinberg has published more than 200 papers
and recently published his first textbook, Functional
Limb Salvage: The Multidisciplinary Team Approach.
He has lectured extensively on diabetic limb salvage
nationally and internationally, and is actively involved
in clinical research and publication. Dr. Steinberg's
address will cover his journey as a podiatrist, including
his many roles in educating and leading his
podiatric and allopathic colleagues.
