Podiatry: Urgent Call for
Support in the 2024 Elections

and well-being of our feet-the foundation of our
mobility. However, the significance of podiatric
medicine and surgery often goes unnoticed,
and it's time to shed light on the urgent need
for financial support for APMAPAC, podiatry's
only national political action committee. As we
approach the 2024 elections, the call for backing
legislative champions of podiatric medicine is
more critical than ever.
APMAPAC serves as the voice of podiatrists
across the nation. Its primary mission is to support
candidates who advocate for legislation that
supports the practice of podiatric medicine and
surgery and who are committed to addressing the
unique challenges faced by podiatrists, ensuring
that we can provide the best possible care to our
patients. APMAPAC plays a pivotal role in shaping
policies that affect the podiatric community, making
it a linchpin for the advancement of the field.
Financial backing is crucial for APMAPAC to amplify
APMA's advocacy efforts, educate policymakers
about the essential role podiatrists play in health care,
and support candidates who champion podiatric
issues. The 2024 elections present a unique opportunity
to influence legislation that directly impacts
podiatric medicine and surgery, making it imperative
to ensure APMAPAC has the resources it needs.
Several pressing issues within podiatric medicine
require legislative attention. From ensuring
fair reimbursement for the services we provide

to be fought. APMAPAC, with the support of the

the urgent need for financial support for APMAPAC

Association Political Action Committee's purpose
is to raise and disburse funds to candidates for
federal office who support the legislative priorities
and goals of the podiatric medical profession.
IMPORTANT: You may contribute or not contribute
without concern of being favored or disadvantaged.
Occupation/Employer information is required for aggregate
annual contributions of more than $200.00 by
the Federal Election Campaign Act. Federal election law
does not permit corporate contributions to be used for
donation to candidates for federal office. Political contributions
are not deductible for income tax purposes.
