shocked that long-standing internal divisions persist
that only serve to undermine the potential strength
we could wield in the face of ever-present and
growing external threats.
Following nearly 15 years of servant leadership
with the APMSA, FPMA, and APMA, I am
fully committed to being a tireless advocate on
the highest platform with the loudest microphone
for the greater good of our profession
and not just a select few. My leadership has
always been rooted in collaboration, strategic
listening, and a tenacious pursuit of smart
solutions for problems as they arise. I have no
interest in sitting on the sidelines while our livelihood
is threatened from all sides by the profit
margins of insurance companies, state and
federal government, and the efforts of others to
erode our specialty into obsolescence.
I will never claim to have all the answers, but I am
unwavering in my vision for our future. I see a future
where podiatric medicine is not only recognized
as a cornerstone of health care, but where we are
revered as the premier-and irreplaceable-foot and
ankle specialists of the world. It is a future where the
value of our contributions is widely acknowledged
by our peers and the public, and where we continue
to grow as a specialty that provides state-of-the-art,
evidence-based care without compare.
To those who share this vision, I humbly ask for
your support as I seek a seat on the APMA Board
of Trustees. Relentlessly serving our profession in
this capacity would be an honor, and I promise to
approach this challenge with bravery, sincerity, and
an unwavering commitment to securing a thriving
future for podiatric medicine.
