Castro de Monte Mozinho (yearround, excavation dates not set).
A late Iron Age hill fort, Castro de
Monte Mozinho was Romanized
and occupied until the 2nd century
a.D. Excavations have revealed several Roman and pre-Roman residential areas as well as a temple that was
probably dedicated to Jupiter. Also
in the vicinity is the museum in

forts on the Iberian Peninsula, the

be inhabited after the Roman expansion. Structures revealed during
