Emile Baraize closed thefissure with cementand stone and it was further sealed on theflanks in more recent restoration work.A large boulder of the core rock (upper right), is held in place by blocks of Phase I restoration carried out by ThutmoseIV ca. 1401 B.c. 2u i 8 et 1 inner toe of the left hind paw shows a claw carved in Member I bedrock.
