The ASHA Career Fair is all about providing you with the tools
you need to find a job, do well in your career, and get the assistance
you need to perform at your best. Whether you are considering
transitioning to a new job, need tips and strategies for better work/
life balance, or need to have your résumé reviewed, check out the
Career Fair in the Exhibit Hall.
The ASHA Career Fair has four programs. Choose the ones that
are right for you.

The ASHA Circle of Support
Hours

More than 70 employers are ready to hire. If you are actively
seeking employment, you can set up an interview or just drop
by during Career Fair hours. Come by even if you're not ready
to change jobs right now-the first step can be starting the
conversation with a knowledgeable recruiter. Employers' jobs will
be posted on ASHA's Online Career Center through November
30. All you have to do is search jobs at www.asha.org/careers.

Focus on Work/Life Balance and Your Career

Booth 1862

Join us for one of the work/life balance workshops in the ASHA
Circle of Support within the Career Fair. Led by Career Coach
Sandie Bass, interactive workshops such as The Secret to Avoiding
Career Burnout and Managing Difficult Conversations With
Peers teach you how to create more balance while juggling a
busy career and an equally busy personal life. See the workshop
descriptions on page 109.

Résumé Star Program

Tweak Your Résumé
Sandie Bass and Suzanne Levy will review résumés in the ASHA
Circle of Support. This is a one-on-one opportunity for you
to receive feedback on how to improve your résumé. Only 100
résumé review slots are available. Sign up at Booth 1862.

Meet With a Résumé Star
If you don't get the chance to sign up for one of the résumé review
slots in the ASHA Circle of Support, you can visit one of our
Résumé Stars. Résumé Stars are Career Fair exhibitors who have
volunteered to provide tips on how to make your résumé shine.
They regularly recruit CSD professionals so you will get an inside
look at how they think.
Whether you are just starting out, want to change your work
setting, or seek to advance your career, the ASHA Career Fair has
something for you!
