Surgery is seeking a PhD Speech-Language
Pathologist to direct the Division of SpeechLanguage Pathology. The focus of the PhD SLP
position is on leadership of a busy group of
speech-language pathologists as well as clinical
care of voice and swallowing disorders in patients
with benign and malignant disease, clinical or
basic science research, and education. Completion
of a CF, eligibility for ASHA certification, and
eligibility for Maryland licensure are necessary.

Asst/Assoc/Full Prof: The Department of
Communication Sciences and Disorders in the
Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern
University seeks applicants for a tenure-track open
rank faculty position. Areas of specialization are
open and applicants from all subfields of
speech-language pathology are strongly
encouraged to apply. The department is interested
in demonstrated clinical competence. In addition to
teaching and service responsibilities (department,
college, university), candidates will develop and/or
continue to foster a nationally and internationally
recognized research agenda and maintain a strong
track record of obtaining external funding. The
anticipated start date for this 2015-16 academic
year position is August 2015. The position is an
academic year, benefits-eligible position with rank
commensurate with candidate's qualifications.
Qualifications: A doctoral degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology or a related discipline by the
start date and a record of publications in scholarly
journals appropriate to the candidate's subfield of
speech-language pathology are required.
Commensurate with their current rank, candidates
at the Full and Associate Professor level will have
national and internationally recognized scholarship
programs, a demonstrated track record of external
funding, and a history of exceptional teaching and
service. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level
must have a strong record of research and
demonstrated success securing extramural funding,
as well as teaching excellence at the college level.

Communication Sciences and Disorders, within the
Bouvé College of Health Sciences, offers degrees at
the undergraduate and graduate levels, in addition
to an interdisciplinary certificate in Early
Intervention, and houses the on-campus,
