Welcome to ACREX India 2015

Messages from ISHRAE, ASHRAE

CREX India 2015 with the theme "Less Energy=More
Life," is taking place at Bangalore at BIEC, the first
LEED-certified exhibition facility in India. ACREX showcases cutting-edge products, projects and services of airconditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration and allied
services, with a concurrent exposition on fenestration,
all under one roof.
It is a matter of immense pleasure that ACREX India is completing its 25th year and is today the
world's 6th largest show in the
industry.
ACREX 2015 features two dedicated pavilions-Refrigeration and
Cold Chain and Smart Homes, an
Ram
endeavor that has received enthusiastic response from national and international organizations and the industry. More than 125 companies from 25
countries and 300 domestic participants are showcasing
products to 30,000+ visitors.
Workshops, technical seminars and interactive panel
discussions are being held on various topics. ASHRAE,
ISHRAE, and REHVA bookstores offer publications at
subsidized rates. To encourage students' fraternity, an
All-India Quiz competition, "A Quest," will be held among
students of the various ISHRAE Student Chapters.
I would like to thank all partners, exhibitors, visitors,
ISHRAE members, supporting associations, societies and
industries who have helped make ACREX India a global
brand. Societies and associations such as REHVA, UNEP,
CIBSE, EBTC, AMCHAM, U.S. Commercial Service, and Federal Ministry of Economy: Germany, KRAIA support ACREX
and conduct seminars, workshops, round table discussions,
and panel discussions. ACREX India is endorsed by ASHRAE.

SHRAE welcomes you to ACREX India 2015. The
success of the show is evidence of the continuing
demand for new HVAC&R information and technology.
ASHRAE is committed to helping its members globally

This year, I chose my presidential theme of "People,
Passion and Performance" because
those are three things that apply
to our Society. That is certainly the
case for ASHRAE's members around
the world, including our members
here in India in our seven chapters
(India, Western India, Chennai,
Pune, ASHRAE Mumbai, ASHRAE
Deccan and ASHRAE Bangalore).

products into practice to improve the performance of
our building stock around the world. The information
and ideas exchanged at ACREX are helping to build a
worldwide best practices network of innovative people
and successful technologies to serve the built environment community.

As Dr. Nido Qubein, the president of High Point University, which is near my home of Greensboro, North
