ASHRAE RP 2018-19 CAMPAIGN RESULTS

t has been a privilege for me to serve as Chair for the 2018-19 campaign year.
RP is a grassroots committee that depends on solid teamwork and a shared passion
to be successful, and I could not have asked for better committee members or
volunteers!

I

This year, donors to ASHRAE RP supported our unique technical research program
with gifts to help ensure that our 125-year old legacy of cutting-edge research into
the HVAC&R industry will continue for another year. Donors also supported
ASHRAE's educational programs and activities, scholarships and YEA (Young
Engineers in ASHRAE) all at a record high total!
Because of you and your generous support, the RP Annual Campaign reached
several milestones, such as:

* The campaign raised a total of $2,801,551; a new high total for the tenth
year running!

* $273,639 was raised for ASHRAE Scholarships through the RP Campaign.
* $845,359 was given by ASHRAE Chapters, Sections, and Regions.
* For a third year running, Region VIII raised more than $500,000 -
congratulations and thanks to RVC Kimberly Thompson for leading the way!
These achievements could not have been realized without the tremendous efforts of
the over 200 RP volunteers, from the Society level ofﬁcers and regional vice chairs
to the chapter level chairs, co-chairs, and other chapter volunteers who helped with
fundraisers, research nights and technical seminars. Without their time, hard work and
dedication, the campaign would not have enjoyed this amazing success. Leading this
extraordinary team effort has been a highlight of my time with ASHRAE.
I also want to thank the numerous companies that not only ﬁnancially support
ASHRAE, but also allow their employees to volunteer for ASHRAE during business
hours. It is the dedication and commitment of those employees that truly help
ASHRAE succeed.
The listing by Region and Chapter that follows lists the names of more than 4,000
investors who have made signiﬁcant ﬁnancial commitments to RP during the 2018-19
ﬁscal year. The RP Staff strives to be as accurate and complete as possible. Please
accept my sincere apology for any omissions or mistakes, and notify the RP staff so
we can correct them for future publications.
