There are some recognized challenges
or limitations in the present
research that could be addressed
in future work. Regarding the
experimental equipment, the
thermostatic heaters used in this
study can represent one specifi c
thermal load, but in real laboratory
environments there are various
heating devices, including but not
limited to Bunsen burners and oil
baths, that may produce different
heat transfer characteristics.
Different types of thermal loads
could be introduced in order
to analyze their impacts on the
robustness of face velocity. In
addition, it would be worthwhile to
expand the scope of tracer gas testing
data collection and to involve more fume hoods of
different types and brands, which would reduce the
