The results indicate that using the IAQP from Standard 62.1-2022 to determine the minimum OA with energy recovery ventilation and MERV 13 filtration is the best strategy from a cost and carbon perspective, followed by using the IAQP to determine the minimum OA with MERV 13 filtration, and then the VRP to determine the minimum OA with energy recovery ventilation and MERV 13 filtration. This finding aligns with the CDC's guidance to upgrade HVAC filters to MERV 13 and meet minimum code outdoor air quantities.
