VARIABLE-SPEED SYSTEM
The Bard Variable Speed Wall-Mount with
Inverter Technology is an energy-effi cient, selfcontained
system designed to offer maximum
indoor comfort with consistent temperatures.
True capacity control is based on cooling and
heating demand, providing a comfortable,
quiet, energy-effi cient indoor environment for
occupants. The system is available in 3 tons or
5 tons (11 kW or 18 kW) with various ventilation
options to meet IAQ requirements.

DIRECT-FIRED HEATING UNIT
AbsolutAire's R400 Series offers direct-fi red
heating solutions, boasting high effi ciency
and quality. Features include 2 in. (51 mm)
double-wall insulation, welded tube steel
framing, a 99.8% energy-effi cient burner and
a highly effi cient/quiet airfoil blade plenum
fan. Airfl ow capacities range from 4,000 cfm
to 130,000 cfm (1888 L/s to 61 353 L/s) and
heating capacities are between 200 MBH to
17,000 MBH (59 kW to 4982 kW), with 15% to
100% outside air.

A HEAT PUMP CHILLER
WaterFurnace International introduces the
TruClimate 900, which can perform as a
stand-alone heating and cooling source or a
simultaneous chiller heat pump. It is smaller
than traditional rooftop units, while providing the
same thermal output, and it can bank up to 10
units for a total capacity of 300 tons (1055 kW).
It delivers a game-changing performance of
120°F (49°C) water production in temperatures
low as -15°F (-26°C).

B ELECTRIC HYDRONIC BOILER
The Cleaver-Brooks LVR electric hydronic
boiler is a compact, zero-emissions, zerocarbon
solution that is nearly 100% effi cient.
Offered from 26 tons to 154 tons (90 kW
to 540 kW), the LVR features carbon-steel
construction with a 160 psig design pressure
vessel. It has integrated controls for optimum
effi ciency, an SCR control providing full
modulation and infi nite turndown and a user
interface with built-in power metering and
limiting functions.

INFRARED HEATERS
With a range of sizes, tube lengths and layout
options, VZ and VZH heaters from Reznor are
approved for indoor commercial and industrial
use. The VZH is also approved for corrosive and
outdoor spaces. These models feature positivepressure,
single-stage burners, fully-automatic
direct-spark electronic ignition controls and
parabolic-shaped aluminum refl ectors.
