Meetings & Expos
2017 EUROPEAN AMCA REGION MEETING

AMCA hosted the 2017 European AMCA region meeting on
March 21, following the ISH trade show. More than 20 attendees representing eight members came to Barcelona to participate
in the event, which focused on strategic planning for the region
in conjunction with the 2015-2017 AMCA strategic plan.
The region meeting was split into two parts: European
manufacturing/HVACR trends and AMCA strategy and initiatives. Presentations were designed to serve as a primer for the
discussions that would follow. The strategy and initiatives
session allowed the members to discuss AMCA's priorities
for 2017-18 and give AMCA staff guidance on projects. The
meeting resulted in a plan that yielded regional goals and new
marketing and communications programs.
2017 ISH SHOW

AMCA also took part in the 2017
ISH show, the world's leading trade
fair for water and energy. The show,
which took place March 14-18,
hosted 2,482 exhibitors from 61
countries. A total of 200,114 visitors
made their way to the Frankfurt Fair
and Exhibition Centre to discover
Booth at ISH Expo 2017.

ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE

In 2018, AMCA will launch a new
annual worldwide conference series
called the Air Systems Engineering
and Technology (ASET) Conferences. These conferences will
provide highly technical education
and training on topics relevant to
commercial and industrial air
systems. The target audience
includes consulting and design
engineers; commissioning and retrocommissioning providers;
installation, service and test/balance contractors; facility
engineers; application engineers; marketing and communications specialists; engineering educators and students.
The 2018 European AMCA Air Systems Engineering and
Technology (ASET) Conference is co-hosted by AMCA and
the Centre Technique des Industries Aérauliques et Thermiques
(CETIAT). It will take place on
February 20, 2018, at Espace Tete
d'Or in Lyon, France. The conference
will educate through structured learning and provide peer-to-peer
networking opportunities.
