43-year-old building into its new headquarters,
ASHRAE had several must-haves in mind for its
showcase work environment. And Cisco, along

" 180 Technology Parkway in Peachtree Corners,
Ga., is our new home and the embodiment of a
trusted workplace, " said 2020-21 ASHRAE
President Charles E. Gulledge III, P.E. By retroﬁtting an existing structure, ASHRAE wanted to
demonstrate how to transform older buildings and
their dated work environments into high performance and ﬂexible workplace environments. By
using a variety of innovative smart building technologies, they envisioned converting the 1970s-era
space into a net-zero energy facility that could
evolve with new and emerging technologies. That
vision came to life when ASHRAE collaborated to
design a state-of-the-art facility showcasing
world-leading technology, ensuring that the new
space could be used to educate its 50,000-plus
members. This new headquarters will provide a
destination venue for industry visitors to experience leading technology in action in a built
environment.

setting the highest standard for smart buildings "
said Jeremy Witikko, head of Smart Buildings for
Cisco. " ASHRAE gave us an opportunity to showcase to their members how to be one step ahead
of the industry and a true innovator, while also
spending responsibly. "
