For over 125 years, ASHRAE has looked to our
volunteers to lead our Society. Once again, our
members came through and demonstrated the true
strength of our organization: our people! In true
ASHRAE fashion, a team of volunteer experts was
selected to lead this project to its conclusion. The
Building Ad-Hoc Committee, with the help of the
Technical Advisory Subcommittee, was formed to
oversee the entire project - from the sale of the
headquarters, to the selection of the new site, to
managing a complex and state-of-the art retroﬁt.
