Letter
We've all learned so much over the past 18 months-about ourselves
and how we like to live and work, about our businesses and how
adaptable they are to unprecedented circumstances and necessary
change, and about the world of design and its outsized role in the
world at large.
Around the globe, homeowners and renters alike have had a unique
opportunity to interact intimately with their dwellings and gain an
amplified understanding of the effect a well-designed environment,
complete with furnishings and materials that speak to one's lifestyle
and rituals, can have on one's general contentment and wellbeing.
Those same people have reconsidered where they would like to
work and what they will expect from an office environment should
they choose to return to one. The solutions for these new scenarios
lie in the creative minds of interior and product designers.

products and ideas forward to help interior design and the population
in general move forward. Individually, they prove one needn't sacrifice
style to be sustainable and that form can live harmoniously with
function. Together they illustrate the power design has to improve
our lives in so many ways.
We're thrilled to bring this second edition of the i+D Design Product
Guide to you. Building on the popularity of the 2020 Guide, this year's
edition offers a new look, more companies and products, and a much
greater level of interactivity. As you read through, you'll be able to
experience videos that help tell the stories of the individual companies
and their products and to link directly to their websites and to specific
products. We hope you enjoy the new advances and that this Guide
serves to make connections and inspire ideas and collaborations for
