Healthy Teamwork
It was a good relationship,
recalls Greene. " There was
a little stress making sure
that all the casework was
received on time, but in the
end the deadlines were met.
It was a large job with a lot
of casework but the schedule
required was met. The quality
of work provided by Giffin is
always very high and it was
on this project also. There
was one area where we had
to add plastic laminate panel
enclosures around window
actuators. It was added scope
and not planned during the
earlier design phase, but
once installed it looked very
nice and like it was part of
the original design all along. "
Giffin proved to be a
good partner in the project,
she continues. " While
construction in the midst of
the Covid pandemic, Giffin
was able to still produce
product and complete
install in a timely manner to
maintain our construction
schedule. It was very evident
that extra efforts were taken
to find materials and work to
maintain our opening date. "
Our working relationship was
productive during shop drawing
reviews, added work design
meetings and just overall,
notes Tronzo. " Questions were
asked and answered on both
sides to make sure the project
continued to run smoothly
and end successfully. "
