Join ATA's Southeast Asian Languages
Special Interest Group!
Dear ATA Members:
Currently, ATA has the Southeast Asian Languages Special
Interest Group (SEAL SIG), which was recognized by ATA in
October 2023. At ATA's 64th Annual Conference, the group
had a table where members who were interested in joining
could connect.
We're interpreters and translators working in Southeast
Asian languages such as Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesia,
Malay, Thai, Khmer (Cambodian), Lao, Burmese, Karen,
Hmong, Tagalog, and many other Indigenous languages
from Southeast Asian countries.
We're looking to network with others working in our
languages to grow professionally, connect with colleagues
who share our working languages or specializations, share
resources for specific languages, and make new friends and
grow together!
We welcome you to SEAL SIG!
