Stop and Start With the dog at the side of the board, I ask him to target while I begin moving forward. I continue forward motion until I reach the end of the teeter where I stop. I expect the dog to stop in a two-on/two-off position. Just as the dog is reaching for position and/or just after he stops (mix it up), I accelerate again with forward motion past the end of the teeter. I do not give my verbal release word (or additional Stay command). I expect the dog to remain in position. I reward the dog in one of the ways described above. Go from fatigued...to FANTASTIC!
