Lead-out position for a blind cross © Karen & Ian Stewart 7 Lead-out position for a pull cue 1 1 3 3 4 2 1 Lead-Out Pull or Blind Cross I have made a straight line out of #1 to #3. I am in the "space of the jump" so the path after #3 is clear for the dog. The blue handler is where I would be if I wanted the tunnel, so I can't be there. I would face the takeoff spot for #3 if choosing a blind cross. But I would face the opposite direction for a pull cue and my arm will drop to pat my leg when the dog arrives in the information zone for #3. In either case, the turn would be completed before the dog landed, setting the correct line to the A-frame with the on-side foot.
