competition: iida Best of Asia Pacific RESIDENCES best of category Project House in Sai Kung Where Hong Kong Designer Millimeter Interior Design Limited Millimeter Interior Design Limited converted a cramped split-level house in a verdant area of Hong Kong into an expression of the Modernist ideal of universal space. A glass wall between the kitchen and the garage places the family's cars on display. The sunken stainless steel kitchen features a dining table that can be raised and lowered, providing an open space in which to entertain. The living room has low-slung furniture that does not interrupt sightlines.
