INTERIORS AWARDS After thoughtfully considering a number of materials for the project, the designers chose white perforated steel panels. With just the right amount of light filtering through the openings, sharp shadows and patterns were created, changing as the light was dimmed or brightened. By controlling the beams in each section the design team was able to create a feeling of rhythm that visitors eagerly responded to. By making cubes for the different product categories, Henning Larsen was able to create a structured exhibition space that effectively showcased all of the newest Louis Poulsen creations, while eliminating distractions from nearby exhibitors. The innovative display allowed visitors to move through each section easily, engaging with the design and experiencing how thoughtful illumination can enhance a variety of interiors. 112 contractdesign.com JANUARY | FEBRUARY 2019http://www.contractdesign.com
