Behr will show variations of systems that perform charge air cooling for such engines. engine; to mid-term systems to be integrated into electric vehicles; to futuristic technologies such as solar and wind power to generate electricity for vehicles. BROSE Brose will launch its e-mobility product portfolio, the result of a new joint venture with SEWEurodrive, a leader in electric motors, gear units and control systems. The partners are pooling their expertise in manufacturing electric motors and corresponding electronics and charging systems for electric drive systems. Technology in development uses inductive charging technology, which charges the battery without physical contact. Brose is a specialist in engineering lightweight components that save fuel and therefore reduce emissions. Examples include lightweight seats, window regulators, thermal management systems (fans and blowers) and door systems. A real-life example of one such configuration is the company’s axle-split hybrid, which will soon be available in the Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4. An axle-split hybrid features an internal-combustion engine on the front axle and an electric drive for the rear axle. Other innovations on the Bosch stand will cover a wide range of time frames: from near-term innovations aimed at prolonging the dominance of the internal-combustion 54 IAA 2011 POCKET GUIDE
