He made that much clear during an interview on Business
News Network last month when he was peddling his own
brand of vodka and trying to establish National Caesar Day.
Smack dab in the middle of a conversation about booze,
Aykroyd went on a rant.
"I love these self-driving cars - yeah, come up to Kingston
and get on that black ice in winter. How are you gonna handle
that?" Aykroyd said. "You're going through the Paris, Ontario,
snow belt, it's a complete whiteout, the road is a shag carpet
with oil on it. Self-driving car! What are you gonna to do there?
You gonna hit the guardrail?
"You gonna stop when the snowplow is coming up behind
you? Self-driving cars! Are you kidding me?

McLaren Group.
Michael Latifi spent
203.8 million British
pounds ($350 million) on
888,135 common shares
of the U.K. company,
according to McLaren's
online investors portal.
Latifi, who is chairman and CEO of
Markham, Ont.-based

Canadian investor Michael Latifi of Markham, Ont.,
spent $350 million to buy a 10-per-cent share of
McLaren Group. He has been "an admirer of the
McLaren brand and its businesses for some time."

GOOGLE AND UBER MIGHT WANT
to keep an eye on 14-year-old Brendon
Matusch. The student from Sudbury, Ont.,
won the 2018 Canada-Wide Science Fair
with his autonomous go-kart.
Matusch's vehicle won the platinum
award for best intermediate project for
students in Grades 9 and 10. It also won
the best-project award.
"I started with an electric go-kart and
modified it," Matusch said in an interview
on CBC Sudbury.
He said that he attached a belt drive to
the steering column and mounted a camera on top of the car to identify road lines.
"I got it to drive successfully for about
500 metres. That's all the stretch of road I
had."
Matusch took home a $2,500 prize and
won a trip to compete in the 2018 European
Union Contest for Young Scientists in
Dublin, Ireland, in September. - ANC

Nissan pays to ship working-moms' milk home

fills a need during
a stressful time for
moms on the road

while away from home. Now,
Nissan North America has
teamed up with a company
that can help.

In 2015, a working mom
launched Milk Stork to provide women with a solution.
The company pre-ships packing materials along with a
cooler to keep milk fresh. The
only breast-milk shipping
company in the United States,
Milk Stork has more than
100 corporate partners, now
including an automaker for
the first time.
Nissan is allowing employees traveling on business in
the United States and Canada
to expense the shipping costs

of nursing mothers' breast
milk. The mom has the supplies when she arrives at her
business travel destination
and can drop the cooler off at
a hotel front desk or a FedEx
shipping location when it is
ready to be overnighted to
her baby.
The idea of partnering with Milk Stork came
from the Nissan Alliance
of Parents, an employee-led
group.
"One of the most stressful times is returning to work

after having had a baby," said
Michelle Baron, vice-president of human resources for
Nissan North America.
"If their job does require
them to travel, they no longer
have to make that choice."
Kate Torgersen, founder and CEO of Milk Stork,
said: "Nissan is not only supporting women during one of
life's greatest transitions, but
also acknowledging the professional accomplishments
and contributions made by
